Within the framework of Sustainability Week 2024, IDB Invest and the International Center for Hydropower are committed to strengthening and developing capacities for the energy transition of the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) Region. We need to deepen the exchange of knowledge and experiences with relevant actors in the electricity and sustainability sector, both from the public and private sectors.
Creating links and sharing good practices becomes increasingly strategic at the regional and national levels and with each interested actor. It requires an integrated and collaborative focus that involves different actors and addresses both technical and political, economic, regulatory, environmental, and social aspects that guarantee sustainable and inclusive energy security.
