Proper investigation and mitigation of Geological/Geotechnical issues and Hydrology related to Hydropower development is always a very important and crucial part of the development process. This is even more relevant in the south Asian and Himalayan regions due to a combination of young geology and extreme weather conditions. This course aims to highlight the necessary procedures and best practices for ensuring a sound development process of hydropower projects.

Project managers and support personnel in the Hydropower development institutions in Nepal and the South Asian region, from both the public and private sectors.
